The wind turned onshore today, which is bad for windsurfing and surfing. That makes it a very good day for repairs. On the way back from the sailmaker we drove past Milnerton and from the highway, I could see great swell hitting the sandbank. What made it even more great, was that instead of closing out, it was just working with nobody in the lineup. We raced home and got our surfboards. The wind had changed direction blowing a light offshore breeze on the 3-4 ft Milnerton waves. We almost had the hollow break all to ourselves, which is kinda rare in surfer-packed SA. Behind the lines we could follow a yacht race, which made a very picturesque session.
