Finally after more then a month of flat spell and no wind, the wind and waves picked up. Last week I did two nice windsurf sessions and surfed kanoa for 3 days, with 3-4ft waves. Today, however was different. It had been raining when Feddo called from Jan Thiel. Apparently the south shore was breaking, which is something that doesn't happen often. We raced to Jan Thiel and saw that the current had turned totally east, which is very uncommon, while 3-4ft waves where comming in. Since Jan Thiel was totally not surfable, so we raced to the Megapier in Otrabanda, where ridable waves where breaking. If there was some wind, that place would totally be windsurfable too. I hope it grows during the night.
