The ducktack is an oldscool move. Ducktacks are notoriously hard to learn. A ducktack demonstrates that the rider has a certain level of sailcontrol. Once you've mastered it, it becomes extremly easy, but in hard wind it can knock you off you board in a flash. When training this, initiate the duck while going slightly upwind. Re-position your feet switch stance. Throw the sail by first pushing it forward, to let the clew pass your body, then throwing it behind you. You should find the spot where the sail floats on the wind. As you turn more into the wind, the sail will catch more wind and popup. Catch it and smile, you've just ducktacked.
